An Analysis of the Structure and Meaning of the Song Lyrics 'Raja Isombaon' by Viky Sianipar and Nurhayati Situmorang

Abstract


Penelitian ini membahas tentang Analisis Bentuk Dan Makna Lagu Raja Isombaon Karya Viky Sianipar Dan Nurhayati Situmorang. Lagu Raja Isombaon dipublikasikan pada tahun 2022 dan sudah bisa didengarkan di seluruh digital platform musik. Lagu Raja Isombaon merupakan sebuah lagu yang menceritakan tentang anak kedua dari Si Raja Batak yang bernama Raja Isombaon. Lagu Raja Isombaon dibawakan dengan instrumen gitar, bass, drum, synth pad, sulim, tulila, hasapi dan taganing dengan metrom  dan tempo Allegro. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah pentranskripsian lagu Raja Isombaon karya Viky Sianipar dan Nurhayati Situmorang, kemudian penganalisaan terhadap bentuk dan makna lagu. Lagu Raja Isombaon terdiri dari bentuk lagu tiga bagian dengan periode A, A’, B, B’, C, C’. Makna yang terdapat pada lagu Raja Isombaon adalah walaupun banyak Suku Batak yang lahir di perantauan, mereka harus tetap mengingat kampung halaman dimana mereka berasal
