PENCEMARAN BIOTA LAUT INSPIRASI KARYA TARI BALANCE BENTUK GARAPAN TARI KONTEMPORER

Abstract


This work was inspired by the social phenomenon of marine pollution on the coast of Padang City. Marine pollution is something that is very damaging to the environment, the waste generated by human activities on land and at sea greatly impacts sea animals and even humans themselves. The sea is a container for humans to produce a livelihood and even a source of food, if humans take products from the sea then humans must protect and protect the sea, the meaning must be balanced. The creators want to make it happen in the form of a dance work that focuses on marine pollution and the balance that occurs between humans and the sea. This work was displayed at the Boestanul Arifin Adam Auditorium with six female dancers. The makeup used is fantasy makeup, while the clothes worn by the dancers are white and blue clothes, white pants. The methods used for this work are research, work embodiment tools, studio work and performance concepts. This work consists of two parts, namely the first part is the atmosphere and human activities in the sea that do not care about the environment, the second part is the atmosphere of how the sea is damaged and animals have no place to shelter, this event is to create a balance by reducing waste disposal and cleaning the sea so that all activities and marine products can be obtained properly
