ANALISIS SOSIOLOGIS PROSES KREATIF SAKATO ART COMMUNITY DI YOGYAKARTA TAHUN 1995 HINGGA 2019
Abstract
The community is part of the creative economy ecosystem because of its ability to form non-formal education spaces to produce creative human resources. Ideas, creativity and social spirit become essential for the community to survive. The Sakato Art Community (1995) in Yogyakarta is a model of efforts to create an ideal creative human within the community. How does Sakato's creative process continue to exist in the contemporary art scene? This research is a descriptive-qualitative analysis of the patterns used by Sakato to build his existence. The explanation of these patterns is based on Vera L. Zolberg's sociological concept of the social construction of art that includes social institutions, artists and supporting communities. And Howard S. Becker said that the creative work of artists is not done by themselves, but some agencies collectively support the genius of artists. The essence of the creative process of Sakato Art Community lies in the consistency of caring for and maintaining the similarity of the member's area of origin (Minangkabau), having been educated from art education, the BAKABA exhibition event as a "battle" skill field for members.
