MUKA MU MUKA KU DALAM DUKA, PUN BUKAN DUKA KU: PERFORMATIVITY MUKA DALAM POSTER BELASUNGKAWA PARA POLITISI DI TRAGEDI STADION KANJURUHAN
Abstract
The face, on several occasions, can become problematic, and on the other side, it can become a potential. There is because the face has performativity aspects in defining the ethic, values, norms, and events in a social setting. The problem of the face can be seen in the politician posters to express condolences for the victim of the Kanjuruhan tragedy. This research used an exploratory method in which the aim is to investigate the aspect of the performativity of the face in the poster by observing and surveying netizen sentiments regarding the politician poster. The result is a poster with a politician's face in the poster getting more negative sentiment if compared with a poster without a face. Almost all netizens associate the poster with the politician's face, representing a lack of empathy and understanding, only taking advantage of tragedy as campaign media.
Abstrak
Muka dalam beberapa konteks bisa menjadi sangat problematik, dan di lain sisi dapat juga menjadi potensi. Dikarenakan muka memiliki aspek performativity dalam setting sosial berorientasi pada etika, nilai, norma dan peristiwa. Problematika muka ini dapat dilihat melalui poster-poster para politisi untuk mengucapkan belasungkawa kepada para korban tragedi Kanjuruhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksplorasi dimana tujuannya adalah untuk menelusuri secara lebih mendalam aspek performativity di dalam poster dengan melakukan pengamatan dan survey terhadap sentimen masyarakat terhadap poster tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, poster belasungkawa yang menggunakan muka politisi mendapatkan sentimen negatif yang dari netizen dari pada politisi yang tidak menggukannya mukanya. Hampir semua netizen mengasosiasikan poster dengan menggunakan muka ini sebagai nirempati, dan dipahami sebagai memanfaatkan tragedy sebagai media kampanye.
