PERUBAHAN TARI LEGONG KERATON KE TARI LEGONG KERATON KREASI DI KOTA DENPASAR

Abstract

Tulisan yang berjudul “Perubahan Tari Legong Keraton ke Legong Keraton Kreasi” Di Kota Denpasar, merupakan hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami perubahan pertunjukan Tari Legong Keraton ke Tari Legong Keraton Kreasi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dari data kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Untuk memahami perubahan maka digunakan teori perubahan, teori estetika dan teori dekontruksi. Hasil yang diperoleh menyimpulkan bahwa, pertama Tari Legong Keraton kreasi merupakan bentuk dari kreativitas seniman atau koreografer yang ingin mencari bentuk-bentuk baru dari tari Legong Keraton tradisi. Tari Legong Keraton Kreasi terdiri dari struktur yang saling terkait membentuk susunan secara sistematis. Kedua, ada dua macam faktor yang mempengaruhi perubahan Tari Legong Keraton Kreasi yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Namun demikian tetap mempertahankan pakempakem yang telah mengkristal, walaupun sudah terjadi perubahan dan inovasi oleh seniman dan koreografer dalam berkarya.

The title of this writing is “The Transformation of Legong Keraton Dance into Creation Legong Keraton Dance in Denpasar City.” It is research result that aims at knowing and understanding the performance transformation of Legong Keraton dance into creation Legong Keraton dance. This research is qualitative research that uses qualitative data. These data were analyzed by using analytic-descriptive method. The transformation was understood by using transformation theory, aesthetic theory, and deconstruction theory. Result acquired concludes that first, creation Legong Keraton dance is the form of artist’s creativity or choreographer who wants to find new forms of tradition Legong Keraton dance. Creation Legong Keraton dance consists of structures that are related one and another and form systematic arrangement; second, there are two factors that affect the transformation of creation Legong Keraton dance namely internal and external factors. However, this dance still maintains crystallized basic movements notwithstanding transformation and innovation created by artists and choreographers in their works.
