STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN SENI TARI DI SMK N 7 PADANG: PERAN GURU DALAM MENYIKAPI KURIKULUM TINGKAT SATUAN PENDIDIKAN

Abstract


This study aims to examine "Dance Arts Learning Strategies at SMK N 7 Padang: The Role of Teachers in Responding to the Curriculum at the Educational Unit Level". The method used in this writing is a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach, namely all data obtained, both written data and field data, are described and then analyzed. The theories used are educational theory, learning strategies proposed by Miarso, behaviorism proposed by Witherington, and curriculum proposed by A.J. Soehardjo. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum used is too loaded with burdens and is very structured. This has a negative impact on learning activities in the classroom. A curriculum that is loaded with burdens makes teachers try to achieve the target burden of curriculum achievement in various ways. The impact is that teaching does not develop well. In conditions like this, teachers only try to achieve "deposits" according to curriculum targets. Teachers become less creative and innovative because of the heavy burdens they have to bear.
