Scoring: Journal of Film Music, an academic journal published by the Department of Film Music, Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang twice a year. This journal publishes original articles focusing on the results of studies in the field of film music. The coverage of topics in this journal includes:

History of film music; History from the early days of cinema until now is related to music accompanying visuals, technology, economics, film composers, and systems of collaboration between film composers and the visual world to enhance storytelling.

Theory of Film Music or Analysis; Film Music Theory seeks to analyze and understand the various elements and techniques used in creating film music.
