Relief: Journal of Craft (E-ISSN: 2809-2945) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Institut Seni Indonesia Padangpanjang and managed within the academic environment of the Craft Study Program, Faculty of Visual Arts and Design.

Relief: Journal of Craft publishes original research articles, practice-based studies, creative research, conceptual studies, and critical discussions in the field of craft. The journal covers traditional and contemporary craft, craft creation, craft design, materials and techniques, cultural heritage, local wisdom, creative industries, sustainability, digital innovation, and interdisciplinary studies related to craft, art, design, culture, and society.

The journal is published twice a year, in May and November. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and, when considered suitable, are evaluated through a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers with relevant expertise. In this review process, the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

Relief: Journal of Craft provides immediate open access to all published articles. Readers may access, read, download, share, and reuse published works in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

The journal does not charge submission fees, review fees, Article Processing Charges (APCs), or publication fees. All stages of manuscript submission, peer review, editorial processing, and publication are provided free of charge to authors.

Authors retain the copyright of their published works and grant Relief: Journal of Craft the right of first publication. All published articles are distributed under the CC BY 4.0 license.

Relief: Journal of Craft is currently discoverable through several scholarly indexing and discovery services, including Google Scholar, GARUDA, Indonesia OneSearch, BASE, ROAD, and CORE.

The journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity, publication ethics, transparent editorial management, and the dissemination of high-quality scholarly works that contribute to the development of craft knowledge, practice, and research.
