Author Guidelines
The Manuscript General Guidelines
1.The article should have not been published in any media publication and not contain plagiarism element.
2.The article can from, research, process, practice, conceptual, about Performing Art
3.The article can be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia for 5000-5500 words not include title, abstract, author, an affiliation of the author, correspondence of author and reference.
4. The article can be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia for 2000-2500 words, analysis with photographs used as analysis materials. Not include title, abstract, author, an affiliation of the author, correspondence of author and reference.
5.If the article is written in Indonesian, the abstract should be typed in Indonesian and English. Meanwhile, if the article is written in English, the abstract should be typed in English only. This abstract section should be typed in Italic font and font size of 10 pt. The abstract number of words of 150-200. Abstract both of English and Bahasa must be completed with 3-5 keywords.
5.Special for the article section, please use left margin of 25 mm, the top margin of 30 mm, right and bottom margins of 20 mm. The single spacing should be used between the lines in this article.
The Guidelines for the Manuscript Body Text
1. THE TITLE OF THE MANUSCRIPT: Title of article no more than 12 words for English and no more than 15 words for Bahasa Indonesia Article should be started by the title of the article followed by authors name and affiliation address and abstract. Authors name must be attached after the title of the article. All authors should be accompanied address, including the name of the institution and email address.
2. ABSTRACT: The abstract should be typed as concise as possible and should be composed of: problem statement, method, scientific finding results, and a short conclusion. The abstract should only be typed in one paragraph and one-column format. How to Write an ABSTRACT: Focus on the following points: (1) Purposes and hypothesis(2) Methods: participant, design, measures, and procedure. (3) Results and Discussion/interpretation of results (4) Short conclusions. Write an abstract should stand alone, consider it the advertisement for your manuscript: Should tell the prospective reader what you did and highlight the key findings. Avoid using technical jargon and uncommon abbreviations. You must be accurate, brief, clear and specific: Use words which reflect the precise meaning, Cites no references.
3. INTRODUCTION: The introduction must contain (shortly and consecutively) a general background and a literature review (state of the art) as the basis of the brand new research question, statements of the brand new scientific article, main research problems, and the hypothesis. In the final part of the introduction, the purpose of the article writing should be stated. In the scientific article format, it does not allow to write down the references as in the research report. They should be represented in the literature review to show the brand new of the scientific article. is written with Arial font type, 11 font size with and bold. The content of introduction is problem background, hypothesis (if any), significant idea to distinguish with the same issue has been published and purpose of research.

4. RESULT : This part consists of the research results and how they are discussed. The results obtained from the research have to be supported by sufficient data. The research results and the discovery must be the answers or the research hypothesis stated previously in the introduction part.
5. CONCLUSION: This is the final part containing conclusions and advice. The conclusions will be the answers to the hypothesis, the research purposes, and the research discoveries. The conclusions should not contain only the repetition of the results and discussions. It should be the summary of the research results as the author expects in the research purposes or the hypothesis. The advice contains suggestions associated with further ideas from the research.
6. ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: All acknowledgments (if any) should be included at the very end of the paper before the references and may include supporting grants, presentations, and so forth.
7. REFERENCES: All the references that used in the article must be listed in this part. In this part, all the used references must be taken from primary sources (scientific journals and the least number is 70% from all the references) that published in the last ten years. Each article should have at least ten references.
Guidelines for alternative formats for Artist
Artist pages should: - Be presented in a form relevant to the content - Include a short contextual statement - Demonstrate innovation in content, form or technique - Be potentially useful to other artists and teachers - Demonstrate rigour and originality located in knowledge of practice .
-artist reflections should: - Demonstrate research , practice or process practicequestions/areas of concern/problems - Be contextualised and referenced - Demonstrate expertise in practice - Have a clear methodology - Be developed relationship between theory and practice - Generate new knowledge and insights
Visual essays should: - Explore interplay between image and text - Be image dominant mode of communication - Offer innovative page layout/design integral - Demonstrate how image/design supports the narrative
Viewpoint/provocations - Different options such as: - A) new and unique viewpoint on existing problems - B) draw attention to or present criticism on article, book, or practice etc. - C) pose questions to the field
They should: - Be informed and referenced - Address an emerging area of enquiry - Be short rather than full length article - Not necessarily be scholarly in tone - Include some contextualization such as concrete examples
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
