PERANCANGAN ENVIROMENTAL GRAPHIC DESIGN UNIVERSITAS INDO GLOBAL MANDIRI PALEMBANG

Abstract

The design of Enviromental Graphic Design media of Indo Global Mandiri University (UIGM) is done with the background of the need of Sign System is now quite important its existence and not only used for the interest of the road signs and signs on the place of course, but also need to be applied in UIGM , as well as around the existence.  An Enviromental Graphic Design of UIGM needs to be designed as well as possible so it can be an effective Sign in delivering messages or information, but still has a high level of aesthetic awareness, so it can be interesting and communicative. And must have continuity between the existing signage, the goal is to facilitate the delivery of UV designing Enviromental Graphic Design. Through the Sign System and make it easier for visitors and the general public, UIGM students, lecturers and staff understand what direction and information is recommended and prohibited within the scope of UIGM.

ABSTRAK

Perancangan media Desain Grafis Lingkungan Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) ini dilakukan dengan latar belakang kebutuhan Sign System yang sekarang ini cukup penting keberadaannya dan tidak hanya digunakan untuk kepentingan rambu-rambu dan rambu-rambu di tempat tentunya, tetapi juga perlu diterapkan di Universitas Indo Global Mandiri, serta di sekitar keberadaannya. UIGM perlu dirancang sebaik mungkin agar dapat menjadi Sign yang efektif dalam menyampaikan pesan atau informasi, namun tetap memiliki tingkat kesadaran estetika yang tinggi, sehingga dapat menarik dan komunikatif. Dan harus ada kesinambungan antara signage yang ada, tujuannya untuk mempermudah penyampaian UV design Enviromental Graphic Design. Melalui Sign System dan memudahkan pengunjung dan masyarakat umum, mahasiswa UIGM, dosen dan staf memahami arahan dan  informasi apa yang dianjurkan dan dilarang dalam lingkup UIGM.
