MELAYU ARTS AND PERFORMANCE JOURNAL

Melayu Arts and Performance Journal (MAPJ) is the Scientific Journal published by the Post Graduate Program of ISI Padangpanjang, focusing on the study of performing arts and visual arts, as well as the development of methods for the creation of performing arts and visual arts, especially those born within the framework of art education at the postgraduate level.

Published twice a year, in April and October, Melayu was chosen as the main target of the study of the writings presented in the MAPJ, and understood as a cultural area, rather than as a particular ethnic group, which included all cultures, both tradition and contemporary, of the nations living in Southeast Asia.
